%X “新工科”建设和发展强调跨学科人才的语言应用综合素养,《大学英语教学指南》(2020年版)的教学目标也聚焦学习者“语言使用”的思维分析能力,这给大学英语教学提出新的目标和挑战。循着当前背景下的教学改革方向,本文选择强调文本语篇交际功能和连贯衔接的篇章语言学作为指导框架,来探究阅读篇章中的主题归纳、上下文逻辑判断、作者主旨意图或立场观点等的启示及理解策略。该研究旨在提高学生对篇章整体结构和篇章衔接策略的意识,以促进学生积极主动的阅读过程,培养学生综合分析的思维能力。
Emerging Engineering construction and development places emphasis on language application competence of interdisciplinary talents. The teaching goal of College English Teaching Guide (2020) also focuses on the learners’ thinking and analysis ability of “language use”, which puts forward new goals and challenges for college English teaching. Following the direction of teaching reform in the current context, this paper chooses text linguistics, which emphasizes the communicative function of text and coherence and cohesion, as the guiding framework. This paper aims to explore some implications on instructions in terms of text topic, context logic, author’s intention in English reading so as to improve students’ awareness of the overall text structure and cohesion strategies of the text. Therefore, students’ active reading process is promoted and thus students’ critical thinking and analysis ability is cultivated.
