What is language management? Is language management in New York State a part of the urban construction in the United States? How well is it planned regionally or nationally? This paper mainly introduces the general development background of language policy or planning and language management research, compares the differences in language management between the federal government and the state government in the United States, reveals the challenges posed by the construction of the New York Bay Area to language management in New York State, and explains the language problems in New York State. Language is an important part of regional planning and management. As the most influential state in the United States, New York State is an important part of the development of New York Bay Area, and consequently the language life is extremely complex. In order to build a harmonious multi-ethnic language life, it is necessary to deal with the relationship between various languages. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the language management of New York State is of great significance for understanding the strong position of the United States in the world, as well as the complex language life of the United States, and moreover, the language management of New York State is of great social value.
