The Application Value of PBL Pedagogy in Medical Physics Teaching: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Chinese University Education

%X 目的:系统研究PBL教学方法在医学物理学教学中的应用价值,并与传统教学模式进行对比说明。方法:以“物理学”“医学物理学”“PBL”和“以问题为基础教学方法”等为检索词在中国知网(CNKI)、万方数据知识服务平台(Wanfang)、维普中文科技期刊数据库(VIP)、中国引文数据库、全国报刊和超星电子图书数据库系统检索2009年至今的相关文献,并将检索的文献资料信息进行整合处理,使用Review Manager 5.3软件进行Meta分析。结果:共纳入7篇文献进行Meta分析,实验对象共计1063例,实验组531例,对照组全部为传统教学532例。Meta分析结果:期末测试平均成绩:WMD = 5.29, 95% CI [4.08, 6.50],P < 0.00001;学生学习兴趣培养的满意度调查:OR = 197.04,95% CI [47.45, 818.27],P < 0.00001;学生自主学习能力提升赞同度调查:OR = 136.92,95% CI [34.56, 542.48],P < 0.00001。讨论和结论:在医学物理学教学中使用PBL教学法可以让学生能够更好地掌握学科重点,还能够培养学生的学习兴趣,同时提高了学生的自学能力。此外,我们推测基于LBL教学方法的PBL教学方法更有利于基础学科的教学建设。
Objective: To systematically analysis the application value of PBL teaching method in medical physics teaching and compare it with traditional teaching mode. Methods: Relevant literatures from 2009 to now were searched on CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, China Citation Database, national newspapers and super Star retrieval platform using “Physics”, “medical physics”, “PBL” and “problem-based teaching methods” as search terms. The retrieved literature information was integrated and meta-analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.3 software. Results: A total of 7 literatures were included for Meta analysis, with a total of 1063 subjects, including 531 in the experimental group and 532 in the control group. Meta-analysis results: Average score of final test: WMD = 5.29, 95% CI [4.08, 6.50], P < 0.00001; The satisfaction survey of students’ learning interest cultivation: OR = 197.04, 95% CI [47.45, 818.27], P < 0.00001; Survey on approval degree of improvement of stu-dents’ independent learning ability: OR = 136.92, 95% CI [34.56, 542.48], P < 0.00001. Discussion and Conclusion: Using PBL teaching method in medical physics teaching can help students to better grasp the key points of the subject, cultivate students’ interest in learning, and improve students’ self-learning ability. In addition, we speculate that PBL teaching method based on LBL teaching method is more conducive to the teaching of basic subjects.
