This paper systematically combs the research status of community elderly care services in China from 1996 to 2022, and analyzes the hot spots and development trends of community elderly care services in China. Through CiteSpace visualization analysis of 529 core journal literatures in CNKI, knowledge maps were drawn in terms of annual high frequency keywords, keyword clustering and mutant words with “community pension service” as the theme. Through the analysis, it is found that the overall research in this field presents a trend of continuity, depth and diversification, and there is a certain connection between some of them in the extensive research of Chinese scholars and re-search institutions, but a strong and close cooperation network has not been formed at present. Up to now, the research on community pension service has basically formed a unique theoretical sys-tem in this field, and various community pension service models have emerged, which has solved some practical problems to some extent. However, the inevitable dilemma at the same time can not be ignored on the basis of existing research, and should be paid continuous attention to, in order to alleviate the increasingly severe problem of aging population from the perspective of community pension service to a certain extent.
