%X 《抗击新冠肺炎疫情的中国行动》是真实记录中国抗疫艰辛历程的重要文献。而在中国抗疫期间，西方媒体则对中国进行了有组织的污名化，因此，向国际社会通报疫情信息，同各方分享防控和救治经验，宣示中国抗疫的政策主张，是历史和时代赋予我国外宣工作的重任。本文基于纽马克翻译理论，从语义翻译和交际翻译视角出发，探析《抗击新冠肺炎疫情的中国行动》英译本中运用的翻译策略。研究发现，在纽马克语义翻译原则的指导下，音译等翻译策略的使用有效地确保了译文的准确性和客观性；在纽马克交际翻译原则的指导下，对原文进行适当地增译、省译、转换和释义，可以有效地传达源语信息，增强文本的可读性和交际的有效性。<br />
Fighting Covid-19: China in Action is an important document that truly records the arduous course of China’s fight against the pandemic. However, during China’s anti-pandemic period, the Western media stigmatized China in an organized manner. Therefore, to inform the international community of pandemic information, share prevention and treatment experience with all parties, and declare China’s anti-pandemic policies and propositions are the important tasks that history and the times have entrusted to our foreign propaganda work. Based on Newmark’s translation theory, the paper explores the translation strategies used in the English translation of Fighting Covid-19: China in Action from the perspectives of semantic translation and communicative translation. The study found that under the guidance of the semantic translation principles, the use of translation strategies such as transliteration effectively ensured the accuracy and objectivity of the translation. Under the guidance of the communicative translation principles, addition, omission, conversion, and interpretation can effectively convey the source language information, which enhances the readability of the text and the effectiveness of communication.
