When submitted to the pedagogical text, it assumes characteristics and reproduces specific discourses. The understanding of how the relief is presented in the teaching of Geography dialogues, in this research, with the same produced in the national, state and municipal curricula. This meeting takes place from the reading of two collections of textbooks of Geography of Elementary School-Final Years and evaluates the possible advances, permanence and setbacks between proposals, documents and textbook. The reading of the relief in the geography textbook opportunistized the discussion of the theme and it was noticed that it is still largely linked to the compartmentalized description of the natural aspects highlighted, to the books of the eighth and ninth year, but it is also notorious that there is a search for a more integrative vision between society and nature and a critical and interpretative reading of the landscape, especially in the books of the sixth and seventh year, which provided a greater approach to relief, focused on the daily life of the student and not in a static way, which in this sense is observed as an advance of the content relief in the textbooks. %K Geography Teaching %K Textbook %K Relief %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=116264
