As a comprehensive and integrated psychological research method, the transtheoretical
model has been extremely successful in the field of healthy behavior in recent
years, and has been used for many studies on healthy behavior change. This
article reviews the theoretical origin and development, content framework of the
transtheoretical model, and the research progress applied to postoperative
self-behavior management of surgical patients in recent years, and prospects
the development trend of application on this basis.</span>
