As the first compilation of Poetics of the Yuan Dynasty, Ding Fang’s Interpretation of Poetics of the Yuan Dynasty collects more than 500 poetics articles of more than 100 literati in chronological order, and collates, annotates and evaluates them. The choice of the manuscript of this work is very appropriate, the author’s comments are rigorous and detailed, the evaluation is concise and appropriate, and the whole thought is unified. It can be regarded as a good model for the study of Yuan Dynasty poetry theory, and it is of great significance to promote the in-depth discussion of Yuan Dynasty poetry theory and literary criticism history.
