There are Wudongde~Baihetan~Xiluodu~Xiangjiaba cascade reservoirs in the downstream Jinsha River, and the hydrological series data used for the design flood results of each reservoir site in the preliminary design stage end at 2008, 2009, 1998, and 1998, respectively. To consider the influence of floods on the hydrological results in the years after the preliminary design, the actual measured daily runoff data of Huatan and Pingshan hydrological station and the actual operation information of the upstream reservoir group were used, and the series of the two stations were naturalized and extended to 2020 according to the Maskingen method for the design flood recheck calculation of the cascade reservoirs. The results show that: 1) the mean values of the design flood peaks at the Huatan and Pingshan stations change slightly (both by 0.6%). Cv and Cs decrease slightly, while Cs/Cv remain unchanged; 2) the variations of the design floods of Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba with different frequencies are mainly within 5%, 3%, 3% and 3%; 3) the design floods of the cascade reservoirs in the downstream Jinsha River are within 5% of the original design error, and the flood frequency curves are basically consistent with the original audited results, which is recommended to follow.
