%X 近年来,中医药文化作为中华文化重要组成部分受到了国际上的广泛关注,其中中医经典古籍《伤寒论》英译本成为了其走向世界的重要媒介之一。《伤寒论》中方剂名往往涵盖着作者的学术内涵,由于译者的思想与英译策略的差异,造成译本之间有所区别。因此本文以罗希文与魏迺杰(Nigel Wiseman)的《伤寒论》英译本为例,浅析二者方剂名英译存在的差异以及对中医药文化传播的利弊。
In recent years, Chinese medicine culture, as an important part of Chinese culture, has attracted extensive international attention. Among them, the English translation of Shanghan Lun, the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) classic, has become one of the important media for it to go to the world. The Chinese prescription names in this classic often contain and denote the author’s academic connotation. Differences between translators’ thoughts and English translation strategies may lead to different English versions. Therefore, taking the English translation of treatise on Febrile Diseases by Luo Xiwen and Nigel Wiseman as an example, this paper analyzes the differences in the English translation strategies of prescription names and their advantages and disadvantages to the dissemination of TCM culture.
