The COVID-19 pandemic has struck heavily on the traditional offline IELTS coaching industry; meanwhile, numerous brand new learning needs of students have been created. To confront such changes, New Oriental developed an Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) strategic learning platform. Under the frame of blended-learning theories, this article discussed the potential benefits of OMO learning, explored the way of systematically merging online learning with its offline counterpart, and provided specific insights on the research & development of IELTS teaching materials in OMO mode. %K 线上线下融合,英语学习,新东方
