Study on the Relationship between Types of English Reading Tasks and Reading Level Based on Cognitive Load Theory %A 崔雨 %A 张晓玮 %J Modern Linguistics %P 990-997 %@ 2330-1716 %D 2021 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ML.2021.94134 %X 基于认知负荷理论,研究通过阅读理解测试、认知负荷主观评价量表和后续访谈,探讨不同阅读任务类型中引起的大学生认知负荷程度和阅读水平的差异,以及认知负荷程度与阅读水平的关系。结果显示,阅读任务类型显著影响大学生的认知负荷程度和阅读水平,认知负荷程度和阅读水平之间呈负相关。基于研究结果,最后提出教师应充分考察学生的认知规律,了解学生的个体差异和通过教学设计引导学生对语篇进行积极加工,以此增加剩余阅读资源,提高阅读水平。
The study, via reading comprehension test, subjunctive evaluation and follow-up interview, investigates English learners’ cognitive and reading proficiency between types of English reading tasks as well as their relationship based on cognitive load theory. It is shown that types of English reading tasks significantly influence cognitive and reading proficiency. Besides, cognitive load negatively influences reading proficiency. Based on the results, it is finally proposed that teachers should fully investigate the cognitive rules of students, and understand the individual differences of students and guide students to actively process the reading text through teaching design so as to increase the remaining resources and improve the reading level. %K 认知负荷,阅读任务类型,阅读水平,大学英语
