%X The article presents the results of variety studies
on the decorative and economic-biological characteristics of </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Hibiscus syriacus</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> L. in the conditions
of Tashkent. It is established that the soil and climatic conditions of
Tashkent are quite favorable for the cultivation of Syrian hibiscus. As a result
of a comprehensive assessment, the most promising, promising and fewer
promising varieties were identified. It is noted that the most promising</span></span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">¡ª</span><span style=\"font-family:&quot;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">both
forms and the </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Speciosus</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> variety are
characterized by better adaptability. Promising varieties¡ª</span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Luce</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">, </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Red Heart</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">, </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Russian Violet</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> in a short time were able
to adapt to </span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">new conditions, and were able to
maintain their decorative and biological</span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> qualities. </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Pink Flirt</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">, </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Rubis</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> and </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Totus Albus</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> are among the less promising
varieties. These varieties were introduced to Uzbekistan in recent years and
have not yet been able to fully adapt. The Aphrodite variety, which is part of
the group of less promising varieties, has not been able to sufficiently show
decorative and economic and biological qualities for a long time.
