%X In this work, the poem of "Words" which belongs to the Tunisian poet Munawar Simadah and has an unusual character in terms of form and content in Arabic poetry was addressed. The study aims to demonstrate the artistic character of poetry by analysing three sections of poetry and its basic content and formal features that distinguish the poems from other poems. S£¿madah (d. 1998), along with Ebu'l-Kasim al-Shabbi (d. 1934), is considered to be an important representative and a pioneer of modern Tunisian poetry. In spite of the destruction of the Arabic language in North Africa, which was occupied by France, Munevver S£¿madah takes his poems in Arabic. The main factor that makes him important in modern Tunisian poetry is not only the people's freedom struggle and poverty in their poetry but also having a high aesthetic value in feeling intensity in the poetry he wrote about existence and metaphysical matters by taking his ¡°sense of self¡± to the center
