%0 Journal Article %T DEDIGI SULTAN ZAVIYE¡¯S INCSRIPTION OF PIR HUSEYIN BEY OF TURGUTOGLU %A Mustafa AKKU£¿ %A £¿¨¹kr¨¹ TA£¿DELEN %J - %D 2018 %X Household of Turgutoglu governed the regions of Kadinhani, Ilgin, Aksehir, Emirdagi, Sivrihisar, Polatli, Kochisar, Aksaray-Eskil on behalf of Karamanogullari as governor inaugurated within center of Konya. The principal founder of the household and the most-known philanthropist of the former according to the unveiled registers is Pir Huseyin Bey. His inscription (menakibname) registers, building marks and court records demonstrates that he launched a lot of construction projects in the center of Konya along with vakfs in the 15th century. Pir Huseyin Bey, one of the philanthropic leaders of the Turgutogullari household, who trained loyal, dynamic, and powerful commanders for the Karamanogullari, is examined within the scope of our study according to his inscription of ¡°Dedi£¿i Sultan Zaviye Vakfiyesi¡± dated 7 Recep 824 / 8 July 1421. Information is given about Turgutogullari and Dedigi Sultan related to Dedigi Sultan Menakibnamesi. Later, the manakibname was read, transcribed, and analyzed.
