%0 Journal Article %T EVALUATION OF EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE ON ACADEMICIANS WITH ENTROPY BASED TOPSIS AND VIKOR METHODS: BARTIN CASE %A Hande K¨¹£¿¨¹K£¿NDER %A P£¿nar £¿ELEB£¿ DEM£¿RARSLAN %A Said KINGIR %J - %D 2019 %X The aim of this study is to evaluate the emotional performance of academicians according to burnout, job satisfaction, emotional labor, and intention to leave by using two of multi-critera decision techniques; TOPSIS and VIKOR. There have been a lot of researches about defining burnout level of academicians and effects of emotion labor on academic life by taking income, gender, teaching load et. as criteria. However, in this study, mentioned job behavior terms are considered as criteria of research so that the emotional performance is evaluated. In this study, survey is applied to academic staffs who work at Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Bart£¿n University during 2015-2016 Spring Term. The survey covers scales about burnout, job satisfaction, emotional labor, and intention to leave. First, the scales are weighted by Entropy method, and then respectively TOPSIS and VIKOR methods, are used to evaluate of performance. As a result, the academicians are listed from highest to lowest according to their emotional performances according to two different multi-criteria decision techniques, and two lists are compared with each other.
