%X Resumen (es_ES) Se describe la morfolog赤a del fruto, semilla, pl芍ntula y la capacidad de germinaci車n de A. paniculatum conocida en la zona con el nombre com迆n de Batero. Los frutos fueron colectados en relictos boscosos andinos del municipio La Sierra, Cauca, en los que se realizan estudios flor赤sticos y de restauraci車n ecol車gica. Para la descripci車n morfol車gica fueron utilizados 20 frutos y 20 semillas y se tomaron medidas morfom谷tricas de largo, ancho y grosor. Las etapas de la germinaci車n se observaron y describieron a partir de la siembra en vivero de cuatro repeticiones de 128 semillas cada una. Tambi谷n se evalu車 la capacidad de establecimiento de pl芍ntulas por trasplante. Las observaciones se realizaron cada tres d赤as. Durante el periodo de evaluaci車n y el establecimiento se determin車 por la sobrevivencia o no de las pl芍ntulas. El fruto de A. paniculatum es seco de tipo c芍psula, las semillas son estrechas y aladas. La germinaci車n es hipogea criptocotilar, el tiempo medio de germinaci車n es de 7 a 25 d赤as y el porcentaje de sobrevivencia por trasplante despu谷s de la aparici車n de los primeros met芍filos fue del 90 %. Resumen (en_US) This article describes the morphology description of fruits, seed, seedling and germination capacity of A. paniculatum, known in the area with the common name ※Batero§.. Fruits were collected in Andean forest relict of the municipality of Sierra-Cauca, where floristic and ecological restoration studies are carried out. 20 fruits and 20 seeds were used for the morphological description; morphometric measurements of length, width and thickness were taken. Germination stages were observed and described based on four nursery planting replicates of 128 seeds each; seedling establishment transplant ability was also evaluated; observations were made every three days during the evaluation period and the establishment was determined by survival or seedling. The fruits of A. paniculatum are dry and capsule type. The seeds are narrow and winged. Germination is Chryptocotylar hypogeal type, average germination time is determined from 7 to 25 days and the survival rate by transplanting after the appearance of the first metafilos is 90%
