%X Purpose and Importance: this study focuses on the education of field specialist in addition to basic education for tour guiding. It aims to discuss health tourism guidance which keeps developing and will keep developing in the future. It is considered that the employment of specialist health tourist guides within the scope of health tourism is an important issue that supports the effort to increase the quality and service quality of the country and the sector. Methodology: The descriptive research method, which is considered to be suitable for the purpose and basic questions of the research, was used. Findings: As a result of the study, it is seen that the courses which are thought to be compatible with the guidance of health tourism are limited, and that the current courses have a wide range of first aid and basic health information. At the same time, the course on Health Tourism is included in the tourism guidance curriculum of only three universities. Originality/Value: The subject of specialization in professional tourist guidance education is a new issue. In the literature, no studies on the subject of health tourism guidance have been reached. It is thought that this study will make a significant contribution to the subject and awareness about the health tourism guidance
