Cunningham articulates this inspiration personally. Especially concerning the subjects such as suicide themes, homosexuality (repressed sexual tendencies), social alienation, the pressure and imposition of the society on the individual, there are many resemblances between the novels The Hours and Mrs. Dalloway. The aim of this article is not to reveal the resemblance and influence of the two novels (which was explicitly stated that there are); but to give a new dimension to the stratification of the meaning of both novels by a hermeneutic approach. As well as being an attempt to understand these novels hermeneutically, it is also a comparison study for both novels. In the analysis and comparison of the two novels, subjective deductions and interpretations were made by moving from the texts in question %K Saatler %K Mrs. Dalloway %K Virginia Woolf %K Michael Cunningham %K kar£¿£¿la£¿t£¿rma %K hermen£¿tik %U http://dergipark.org.tr/cutad/issue/37872/388614
