%X While the child's presentation on the media gives information about the situations he / she is facing in his / her society, also reflects the point of view of society about child. The aim of the research is to examine the news about children in daily newspapers published in Turkey. Four newspapers (H¨¹rriyet, Sabah, S£¿zc¨¹, Posta) published in Turkey between 19.09.2017 and 16.10.2017 were selected for the study. Within the scope of the research, it was examined how frequently children are included in newspaper news, which age group children were most often subject to newspaper news and how children are presented in newspaper news. Content analysis method was used in the research and data were categorized. It was found that the Posta had the most news about children. It was found that newspaper reports were mostly about children between the ages of 12-18. It has been determined that children are mostly involved in news as victims of neglect and abuse, then victims of accident. As a result of the research, it was found that newspapers have positive news about children, but there are more news that children is in a negative position and the children are mostly presented as victims. The presentations of children in the newspapers discussed with perspective with education and development
