%0 Journal Article %T THE EFFECTING FACTORS AND SATISFACTION LEVELS OF THE PATIENTS WHO APPLY TO A FAMILY HEALTH CENTER %A Melda Ceren SAKA %A Zeynep ARABACI %J - %D 2018 %X The research was to examine the effecting factors and satisfaction levels of patients who applied to a family health center. The descriptive research was carried out at a Family Health Center in Izmir. The data of the study were collected by the investigator using face-to-face interview method using the "European Patients Evaluate General / Family Practice" questionnaire from 143 patients who received polyclinic services between April 2014 and May 2014. SPSS 21.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Number, percentage analyzes were made, mean and standard deviation were calculated. Regression analysis was used to determine the factors affecting satisfaction level. It was determined that 95,1% of the patients who participated in the survey benefited from primary health care services. It was determined that 83,9% of the patients were the Family Health Center of the first applied health institution. While 97,2% of the patients were ill, 53,8% of them were informed, 27,3% were using immunization services (vaccination), 7,0% had family planning (spiral, condom) services, 11,2% were pregnancy monitoring, 16,1% were infant monitoring it was determined that they applied for primary care services. Patients' satisfaction level was found to be 4,06 ¡À 0.72. In conclusion, this study attempted to examine the effecting factors and satisfaction levels of patients who applied to a family health center. It was determined that the satisfaction levels of the patients were high and the satisfaction levels of the patients were affected by variables such as age, education level, social security presence and first referral health unit. Satisfaction rates are thought to be linked to the conditions of family physicians and the Family Health Center.
