%0 Journal Article %T Information Levels, Attitudes and Consumption Behavior of Students about To Organic and Genetically Modified Organized Products: Example of Ondokuz Mayis University %A K¨¹r£¿at Demiry¨¹rek %J - %D 2019 %X This study is carried out to determine the knowledge levels, attitudes and consumption behaviors about organic and genetically modified organism (GMO) products, in Ondokuz Mayis University students in Samsun. The primary and basic material of the study is the data collected from the fourth grade students of the related faculties in Samsun Ondokuz Mayis University. The socioeconomic characteristics of the students are analyzed by simple statistical methods; Information, Attitude and Practice (BTU) analysis is used to analyze and compare of the knowledge levels of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) attitude and consumption behaviors. According to the results of the research, it is possible to say that the students do not have enough knowledge about the definition and characteristics of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) products and they have different perceptions.
