%0 Journal Article %T A critical review of Nurettin Top£¿u¡¯s understanding of Education, Teacher and School %A Erkan G£¿kta£¿ %J - %D 2019 %X Nurettin Top£¿u draws attention because of national and holy characteristics of his educational views based on the action philosophy which played the most important role to construct the ideas. Despite being similar to some mystical approaches, the action philosophy on which the construction of existence, will and ethics are based, is directly influenced by the leading action philosophers. As a consequence, Top£¿u¡¯s educational views are under the effect of these philosophers. Concepts of education, school and teacher are also constructed by this philosophy. In this study, Top£¿u¡¯s views on education, school and teacher is reviewed and his aspect of education is criticized in connection with today¡¯s educational issues. The search is based on his writings on education.
