%0 Journal Article %T Nazm£¿-Zade Murtaza and Zeyl-i Siyer-i Nab£¿ %A Mehmet B¨¹k¨¹m %J - %D 2018 %X According to the Turkish History of Literature, the first study of the Turks in the copyright area was carried out by Veys£¿ in the 16th century. The works before Veysi were translations from Arabic and Farsi. Nab£¿ tried to complete the D¨¹rret¨¹'t-Tac f£¿-S£¿reti that was left uncompleted after the death of Veysi with two postcripts, but he did not live long enough to finish the work. Nazm£¿-zade Murtaza succeeded to complete this work in 17th century and so that first Turkish copyright ouvre appeared. As Veysi and Nabi¡¯s works were popular and valued by public, Nevi-zade Atai, T£¿fli Ahmed £¿elebi, Ko£¿hisari-zade S¨¹leyman Talib, Bosnal£¿ Adulkerim Sami Efendi, Zehrimarzade Seyyid Mehmed R£¿za and Koca Rag£¿p Pasha as well as Nazmizade Murtaza wrote postscripts for these works. As a result of catalog researches 13 in the country and 2 abroad 15 copies were reached. This study is important as it breaks a new ground in terms of Turkish literature and history. This work is not a translated work like the ones written before but it is a complementary and first example of ¡°Copyright Turkish Prophetic Biography¡± with the works of Veysi and Nabi.
