The origin of this subject still remains to be explored. Moses b. Maymonides claims that kal¨¡m atomism was affected by Greek atomism. This claim also has been taken into account by various orientalists. In the XIX. Century, Schm£¿lders and Mabilleu claimed that Kal¨¡m atomism was effected by Indian atomism. Shlomo Pines in his Beitrage zur Islamischen Atomenlehrehas acknowledged a resemblance between the certain aspects of Greek and Kal¨¡m atomism. Pines thought that the difference between Greek atomism and Kalam atomism were too great and therefore believed that the search for a source of Kal¨¡m atomism was inconclusive. Pines established some congruities between the doctrines of and Kal¨¡m atomism. According to Alnoor Dhanani in The Physical Theory of Kal¨¡m(Brill 1994)Pines failed to find possible routes transmission from the former of the latter. Before Pines (ten years ago), £¿emseddin (G¨¹naltay), in his article called ¡°M¨¹tekellim£¿n ve Atom Nazariyesi¡± (Daru¡¯l-Funun £¿lahiyat Fak¨¹ltesi Mecmuas£¿, 1925) acknowledged congruities between the doctrines of Indian atomism and Kal¨¡m atomism. This article claims that Kal¨¡m atomism was put forward by mutekellim£¿nin and the influence of Greek and Indian atomism on Kal¨¡m atomism was indirect. Therefore Kal¨¡m atomism can be treated as an original theory %K Kelam %K Kelam Atomculu£¿u %K Mezopotamya %K Yunan Atomculu£¿u %K Hind Atomculu£¿u %K Demokritos %K Hint £¿limi Kanada %U http://dergipark.org.tr/ulum/issue/40152/485438
