%0 Journal Article %T Investigation of Different Application Methods for Dormancy Breaking in Rumex crispus L. (Curly dock ) Seeds %J - %D 2018 %X This study was conducted to determine the effects of certain chemicals, hormones and high / low temperatures on the breakdown of dormancy in Rumex crispus L. (curly dock) seeds. Chemically; sodium hypochlorite, ethanol, pure water, high and low temperature applications [microwave (120 W),-80 ¡ã C,-80 ¡ã C and + 80 ¡ã C and hydrochloric acid were used. These studies were conducted in light, light-dark and dark environments. The highest germination rate in the light environments was obtained from the ethanol application of 3% for 120 hours with 100%. In light-dark environment, the highest germination rate was 100% with sulfuric acid application for 60 seconds. In the dark, the highest germination rate was determined by Sulfuric acid application for 60 seconds with 86%. The application of 3% ethanol for 120 hours showed only the best germination in the light environment, whereas the application of sulfuric acid for 60 seconds showed the best germination in both the light, the light-dark and the dark environment. As a result; Rumex crispus L. seeds were found to be the most effective methods for the breakage of dormancy by applying sulfuric acid for 60 second sinlight-dark and 3%ethanol for 120 hours in light environment %K Rumex crispus %K dormansi %K £¿imlenme %K hidroklorik asit %K etanol %U http://dergipark.org.tr/mkuzfd/issue/41577/423523
