%X The nafs, which has an important position and value within the order of beings due to its relation to the body, is inherently intellectual; functionally the realm of entities, which reaches the corporeal beings to the perfection. According to Kind£¿ philosophy it is possible for a person who has a body and a soul can get rid of the negative forces of the body and reaches up its essential perfection through the nafs. In this manner, the nafs functions as a protective shield against the faculties of desire and anger of the human being and prevent the evil by saving the human from the passions of the body. Because it is not possible to prevent the wishes of the body, which has the faculties of desire and anger, without the function of the soul. This study elaborates on the relation of the nafs to the body and the resultant evil because of this in Kind£¿ philosophy
