Turkish Journal of Religious Education Studies, 5, 97-117. %A Yusuf SELLER %J - %D 2018 %X Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, -who studied syntax (nahiv) of Arabic - was born in Cairo which had turned out to be a center for culture and science under Mamluks. Rarely did he leave Cairo where he availed brilliant scholars of his era, thanks to whom his fame went beyond the borders while they were still alive. Ibn Hisham, who Ibn Haldun called ¡°more like a grammarian than S£¿beveyh¡±, put forth many works.
