%X The incidence of geriatric syndromes increase as the elderly population grows in dialysis patients. Growing coexistence of complications of hemodialysis and geriatric syndromes enhances the cooperation between geriatricians and nephrologists in terms of patient management. Nephrologists should discuss geriatric concepts such as dementia, fragility and palliative care in order to improve life expectancy, functional status and treatment responsibilities
