As is known, chlorophyll is a green colored pigment that allows photosynthesis to take place. The amount of chlorophyll in plants affects the rate of photosynthesis, and the amount of plant varies depending on many factors, mainly planting conditions and plant species. Within the scope of the study, measurements were made in 26 plant species used in landscaping studies in Samsun city center in 5 replications. Study results were evaluated by means of variance analysis and Duncan test. The mean, lowest and highest chlorophyll values and standard deviations of the species were determined. According to the results of the variance analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference in the 99.9% confidence level among the species, and the chlorophyll levels of the studied species were collected in 12 homogenous groups according to Duncan test results. As a result of the study, it was determined that the amount of chlorophyll in 11.04 cci of Robinia pseudoacacia was 144.82 cci in Yucca gloriosa, and the average chlorophyll content of other species changed between these two values %K Peyzaj Bitkisi %K Klorofil %K Samsun. %U http://dergipark.org.tr/kastamonujes/issue/41743/285606
