%X Owing to the fact that Roy Jackson¡¯s book which translated into Turkish as Do£¿u£¿undan G¨¹n¨¹m¨¹ze £¿slam Felsefesi contains technical shortcomings, his style is considerably new and unprecedented in Islamic philosophy litterateur. In this work, the author proposes to read the thought of Islam through historical and contemporary topics instead of pursuing chronological order. The book is intended for readers who wish to have knowledge in various fields of Islamic thought, such as ethics, politics and theology, rather than those who want to deepen in the history of Islamic philosophy
