%0 Journal Article %T Evaluation of patient confidentiality %A Ye£¿im Akar %J - %D 2019 %X Patient confidentiality is a concept that has gained importance in the historical process that has been spoken since mankind existed, especially in recent years. The purpose of this study is to determine the patient¡¯s point of view and the attentional state of attention by applying a questionnaire on emergency services and inpatient illnesses at the outpatient policlinic units. The universe of the study consists of 3313 patients who received health services in the hospital during July of Y£¿ld£¿r£¿m Beyaz£¿t Education and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University D£¿£¿kap£¿. The sample group also included 500 patients who received health services in July. ¡°Patient Intimacy Inventory¡± developed by Akten (2017) was used as data collection tool. Demographics are given in the inventory, questions about the level of confidentiality information and questions about the evaluation of patient confidentiality. The questionnaires were evaluated with the SPSS 16 package program. As a result of the study, according to the results determined by the evaluation of the patients in Healthcare University D£¿£¿kap£¿ Y£¿ld£¿r£¿m Beyaz£¿t Education and Research Hospital; the average level of confidentiality of patients was 73.9%, the rate of confidentiality was 81.6% on average, and the employees of the institution were careful to protect patient confidentialit %K Hastane %K Hasta Mahremiyeti %K Sa£¿l£¿k £¿al£¿£¿an£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/sagakaderg/issue/43967/543098
