%T The Effect of Assertiveness Level on the Conflict Tendency of Team Players

%X This study aims to analyze the effect of assertiveness level on the conflict tendency of team players regarding certain variables. The sample of the study is totally n=134 amateur and professional players. Data were collected via ¡°Conflict Tendency Scale¡± and ¡°Rathus Assertiveness Inventory¡± The data was analyzed with Descriptive Statistics, Pearson Correlational Analysis and Basic Linear Regression. It revealed that there was low negative meaningful difference between assertiveness and conflict tendency regarding to sex, age, sport age, marital status, educational level, sportiveness level (amateur- professional) and sport branch of team players. Considering these findings, it can be said that assertiveness has quite limited effect on the conflict tendency of sportspeople
