%0 Journal Article %T NATURE OF EDUCATION AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION : THE MEANING OF BEING EDUCATED IN THE FIELD OF RELIGION AT PRESENT DAY %J - %D 2018 %X In this article, the nature of education has been taken from the point of view of philosophy of education, and its reflections on the understanding of religious education has been evaluated. Educational criteria related to these principles have been tried to be determined in religious education by arguing that it is the focal point of learning and development, that it is based on the nature of education, that it is based on value judgment, that it is good, that it needs to develop above its current level both culturally and individually.
