%0 Journal Article %T Analysis of Science Process Skills of 7th Grade Secondary School Students %A Fatih DO£¿AN %J - %D 2018 %X This study aims to determine to what extent 7th grade secondary school students have science process skills. The science process skills of students were evaluated by means of Science Process Skills Test (SPST) developed by researcher and composed of 31 multiple-choice items. KR-20 reliability coefficient of the test was found to be 0.88. The population of the study consisted of 168 students selected by purposive sampling. The data showed that the students were successful at moderate level in their science process skills. The course achievements of science and technology of the students, the educational status of their fathers, and registration of students to preparatory schools as well as their science process skills were found to show significant difference.
