Writing skill has a fundamental that covers reading, understanding and speaking skills. This study reveals the self-efficacy in writing of foreign primary school students. The study states that students have a positive view towards self-efficacy in writing. Students are willing to write when the subject is about emotions, thoughts, dreams, etc., while the subject is restricted and predetermined, they are not seemed so eager. When comes to grammar, students seem to have self-efficacy on what they can do, but this self-efficacy is insufficient. It can be seen that there is no correlation between the students¡¯ gender, the time they have spent in Turkey, grade and factors that are stated in the scale. Consequently, it is revealed that students have a high self-efficacy in writing and they can be even more succesful if they are encouraged enough.
