%0 Journal Article %T Healthcare Accreditation Programs and TUSKA %A Canan CENG£¿Z %J - %D 2018 %X It is aimed to increase the quality of the services provided by applications for accreditation programs in health services. Initial work on healthcare accreditation began in the US, Canada and Australia, becoming a tool used in other countries, especially towards the end of the 90's. Prior to the accreditation system for health services carried out by Tš¹SKA in our country, there are quality studies carried out by the Ministry of Health, which is long-term. The development of quality culture in health institutions has revealed the need for accreditation and the work towards this has been increased. Tš¹SKA develops and develops various accreditation programs according to the needs and priorities of our country by using the standards and auditor training program accredited by The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) and carries out the activities of receiving, evaluating and conducting the applications to these programs.
