The Turkish inscription written in the Latin Alphabet ¡°Y£¿rg¨¹£¿ R¨¹stem Pa£¿a Camisi 1426¡± on the plate on the portal, consubstantiating Y£¿rg¨¹£¿ Pa£¿a and R¨¹stem Pa£¿a, identifies a historical figure who never existed as the patron of the building. This consubstantiation refers to two important actors in the construction process of the mosque: Y£¿rg¨¹£¿ Pa£¿a (d. 1442), the vizier of Murad II and R¨¹stem Pa£¿a (d. 1561), the vizier of S¨¹leyman I. This study does not aim to reveal whether Y£¿rg¨¹£¿ Pa£¿a or R¨¹stem Pa£¿a was the true patron who commissioned the building, rather it aims to examine the building in detail to date its parts %K Osmanl£¿ Mimarisi %K Amasya %K G¨¹m¨¹£¿ %K Y£¿rg¨¹£¿ Pa£¿a %K R¨¹stem Pa£¿a %U http://dergipark.org.tr/iuarts/issue/47471/598359
