%0 Journal Article %T Prevalence of Distomatosis in Cattle Slaughtered in Isparta Province %A Mehmet ACI£¿Z %J - %D 2019 %X Liver trematode infection causes serious loses in livestock production. This study was carried out to investigate the prevelance of liver trematode infection in cattle in Isparta province. 5192 cattle livers and gallbladders were examined and the effects of trematode species, sex, age and season were analyzed. The prevalence of infections with Fasciola hepatica, Dicrocoelium dendriticum and mix infections was determined as 0.9%, 1.4% and 0.2% respectively. General trematode infection was found significant in terms of sex ( P<0.05, OR=8.76). Liver treamatode was determined 15.52 times in cattle aged more than three years compared to cattle aged 1-3 years, which was significant (P<0.05).
