%0 Journal Article %T Investigation Of Elementary Prospective Teachers¡¯ Problems About Design-Drawing %A Kaz£¿m Artut %J - %D 2018 %X Design-drawing works is important because it is the basis of the studies supporting the development of visual perceptions, creative thinking and artistic design power of elementary prospective teachers. It is known that some adults do not go above the level of development they have achieved in primary and secondary school in terms of drawing skills. It is a frequent occurrence that many adults who have been educated at a higher level than art are still drawing like children and using template figures. For this reason, it is considered important to focus on the drawing skills that individuals are expected to earn in the art education process. In context with this, in this research, it has been aimed to investigate views related to design- drawing works that prospective elementary teachers within visual art class. The research is a descriptive survey model. The sample of this research consists of 83 elementary prospective teachers (45 female, 38 male) ongoing to a state university elementary education classroom teaching program in the Turkey's southern region. A questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool. Analysis of data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The research findings show that most of elementary prospective teachers don't know drawings technics, and how to begin to draw. Also the most of elementary prospective teachers have got problems about composition, perspective during drawing.
