%0 Journal Article %T Identity Perception of Third Generation Turks in Germany %J - %D 2018 %X Identity, which is a problem of belonging, is constructed through being influenced by the social and cultural relations it is in, as well as the historical events and processes that emerge from past to present. In this context, it is undeniable that immigration plays an important role in the formation of identity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the identity perception of the third generation Turkish migrants who live in Germany today, as a result of Turkish labour migration to this country starting from 1961. The prerequisite in identity construction is always the need for an "other". Thus, it has an important place in Turkish migrants¡¯ identity construction, as well.
