%0 Journal Article %T The Deterriotorialization in the context of Construction of Schizo-Subject in the Disconnected %A Suphi Keskin %J - %D 2018 %X Tutunamayanlar (The Disconnected, 2016) is the text of Turgut £¿zben¡¯s transformation through his readings of what Selim I£¿£¿k left after his death. From a different viewpoint, this transformation reveals the reaction of Turkey people¡¯s collective unconscious towards the flashy pace of the Republican modernization. O£¿uz Atay, makes £¿zben character to contextualize his alienation regarding his close environment and late-Modernism of Turkey through the texts of his dead friend. In addition to Kemalist Westernization thought, the roots of this ideology what grounded upon the daily practices of capitalist-Modernity and its intellectual infrastructure appear as the targets of the ironic and parodic style of Atay during the construction of £¿zben¡¯s contextualization. From Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari¡¯s perspective, the process is a liberalization act against the despotic-machines of capitalist-Modernity¡¯s manifestation of itself as Kemalist modernism in Turkey which gets strength from Bakhtinian dialogic polyphony of carnivalesque and becomes visible through the construction of ¡°schizo-subject¡±. In this study, £¿zben¡¯s transformation is analyzed according to the deterritorialization concept of Deleuze and Guattari, and the formal deterritorialization is examined by drawing correspondence between Mikhail Bakhtin¡¯s concepts of carnivalesque and dialogism as well as Deleuze and Guattari¡¯s conceptualizations %K kapitalist Modernizm %K Kemalizm %K yersizyurtsuzla£¿ma %U http://dergipark.org.tr/metder/issue/40858/420219
