%X Postmodernism which has been emerged and spread in Turkey after the 20th century has caused new ideas and uses in literary works that written with the influence of this movement. One of them is ¡°intertextuality¡± which is seen as the milestone of the postmodernism. Although intertextuality is a method that can be seen before the postmodern era, it has become indispensable to use it in the works written with the belief that everything had been said before. Murat G¨¹lsoy, one of the representatives of Contemporary Turkish Literature, is one of the prominent names of this theory which has become prevalent in Turkish literature as in world literature. We can see this technique in both novels and stories of G¨¹lsoy and it is frequently used in his latest novel Yaln£¿zlar £¿£¿in £¿ok £¿zel Bir Hizmet. Intertextual elements can be used with methods such as submission, assimilation, collage, pastiche, parody, rewriting. In this study, we will briefly try to mention postmodernism and intertextuality and try to show the intertextual elements in Yaln£¿zlar £¿£¿in £¿ok £¿zel Bir Hizmet
