%X In Turkey's Edirne, as a door to the Balkans, Bosnian Language and Literature program offering the undergraduate education within the Trakya University Faculty of Literature assumes a significant mission in terms of not only Turkey's strategic goals in the Balkans but also restoration of historical, religious and cultural ties with the Bosniaks that we have been part of the same state and nation for more than 400 years.The Bosnian Language and Literature program, that commenced accepting students in 2007, has been continuing education and teaching for 11 years. The program, besides Turkey's economic, politic and military initiatives towards the Balkans, it also represents an important branch of cultural expansion. In our study, after the examining the Bosnian Language and Literature program, that was initiated with the aim of such an important mission, in the context of the curriculum and strategic objectives, we will make some determinations related to the functioning of the program and the curriculum based on relevant lessons and course content with Slavic languages and literatures in the curriculum of the Slavic departmants of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the different parts of the world
