%0 Journal Article %T The Role of Charging-Out Anxiety and Negative Emotions Related to Charging Needs in Mobile Application Energy Consumption Expectations: A Research in K£¿r£¿kkale Province %A £¿brahim Bozac£¿ %J - %D 2019 %X Smartphone batteries, which are an important element of quality and usability for consumers, and the problems caused by battery discharge have recently took attention of researchers. In this research, effect of experienced negative emotions in the face of the need to charge, and anxiety about the discharge of the battery, on the energy consumption expectations of smartphone users are examined. In this context, primary data were collected from 312 smartphone users by convenience sampling method in K£¿r£¿kkale province and evaluated with statistical analysis method. As a result of the research, 31,4 % of the participants have high expectation about energy consupmtion of mobile applications, 33,9 % have nagative emotions when they feel the need to charge and % 48,8 feel worry about running out of charge. In addition to this, it is determined that the anxiety about the discharge and the negative emotions when there is need for charging are the factors affecting the energy consumption expectations of mobile applications.
