%0 Journal Article %T A section with a focus on £¿ank£¿r£¿ in the production of scientific knowledge: Quantitative analysis of graduate theses about £¿ank£¿r£¿ %A Co£¿kun Polat %A H¨¹seyin Odaba£¿ %A Mehmet Ali Akkaya %J - %D 2019 %X £¿ank£¿r£¿, which is located on the important junction points of the Anatolian civilizations, has become one of the important colors of our cultural and social richness at the national level and has become one of the cities which cannot be ignored in the historical continuity before and after the Republic. £¿ank£¿r£¿, which basically hosts the culture of society that regulates the social relations of the individual within the framework of moral norms, has a deep and colorful tradition. On the other hand, £¿ank£¿r£¿ has been shown to be one of the most disadvantaged cities in terms of competition among the surrounding cities. In this study, the reflection of £¿ank£¿r£¿ on postgraduate theses, one of the most important products of the scientific world, was evaluated. In this context, quantitative content analysis of master theses (160), expertise theses (1) and doctorate theses (44) recorded in the Council of Higher Education's Thesis was made. In the light of the data obtained in this analysis, it was revealed that the literary, historical, artistic, environmental, agricultural and cultural abilities of the city were discussed in the scientific researches in the theses in the context of when, how, at what level and in the discipline; thus, a thesis map was created on £¿ank£¿r£¿. It is thought that the results and findings obtained in the light of the findings may be more fully reference to similar studies in the future.
