%0 Journal Article %T Analysis of the Articles Published in the Field of Educational Sciences in Turkey: An Example of Education and Science Journal %A Tš¹rkay Nuri TOK %J - %D 2018 %X £¿The aim of this research is to make a case assessment of the articles in the field of educational sciences in Journal of Education and Science by analyzing through thematic, methodological and statistical analysis techniques. The data of the study were collected through qualitative research methods through a document review and subjected to descriptive and content analysis. 181 articles published in journal in the field of educational sciences have been analyzed. Within this scope, ¡°article classification form¡± was used for the analysis of the articles determined. The articles were analyzed in terms of content analysis, including the subject of the article, methodology, data collection tools, sampling and data analysis methods dimensions. The obtained data analyzed on the basis of the frequency and the data were presented in the tables. The results of the research show that most of the publications were made by scholars working in Hacettepe University, Ankara University and Gazi University respectively. Besides, it is seen that articles published in the field of educational sciences were mostly carried out in the department of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economy (EASPE), the majority of studies were conducted by quantitative research methods and the sample sizes were mostly composed of students.
