%0 Journal Article %T Memory of Literature: Intertextuality from ¡°Ferhunde Kalfa¡± to M¨¹cella %A Serdar Akarkan %J - %D 2018 %X The present work aims to examine two works, Ferhunde Kalfa by Halit Ziya U£¿akl£¿gil and M¨¹cella by Nazan Bekiro£¿lu, based on Michael Rifaterre and G¨¦rard Genette's views on intertextuality. The intertextual relationship allows a text, whose place of choice in the literary tradition ensures its durability in the memory of the reader, to return to the memory of it. The literary text is not presented to readers as if it existed in isolation or was preceded or followed by anything. The appearance of a large number of texts preceding it in a different semantic field, or in a different reference circle, requires a certain effort to resolve referents and components, to grasp them and to apply them to life. From this angle, on the one hand it is sought in this study, to determine the genesis of the idea of meaning and intertextual significance, as conceived by Michael Rifaterre, on the other hand to understand the method of intertextual relations according to Genette who defines a text in terms of transpositions / transformations from the formal and thematic angle. This study applies the same method to the two texts mentioned above. The process of Rifaterre's "signifiance", which is identified with the aesthetics of the reception, was evoked and some results were obtained with regard to the distinction established by G¨¦rard Genette, between what he calls "homodi¨¦g¨¦tique transposition" and "signifiance" %K Metinleraras£¿l£¿k %K Edebi Haf£¿za %K Ben£¿yk¨¹sel D£¿n¨¹£¿¨¹m (Transposition Homodi¨¦g¨¦tique) %K Anlam (Sens) %K Anlamlama (Signifiance) %K Al£¿mlama Esteti£¿i %U http://dergipark.org.tr/humanitas/issue/36653/346035
