%X In our age, unlimited consumption habit rapidly dissolves the limited resources. Waste material with increasing consumption also threatens the environment. The environment has become one of the most serious problems of our age. The world is moving away from being alive. This situation concerns all people closely. It is also the person who makes life into the environment. The solution is to educate people. It is important to maintain this education with religious norms. Although several national and international institutions have been constituted and various instructions have been written in order to protect the environment, such initiatives have been remained incapable since they are not based on humanitarian approach and are far from religious moral ground. Keeping the issue on the agenda and taking of it on the religious ground is a necessity. In this study, the subject will be discussed in the light of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad ¨Cpbuh
