%0 Journal Article %T Archaic Verbs in Qazakh Turkish in the Perspektive of Divan¨¹ Lugati't T¨¹rk %A Mehmet Mustafa KARACA %J - %D 2018 %X In this article, it was aimed to compare and examine the verbs of Kazakh Turkish which is in the dialects of Kipchak group, and Karakhanid Turkish which XI.th-century standard Turkish and D£¿vanu Lugati't-Turk, which compiles the language records of the dialects spoken in this century. It has been determined that many verbs which seen in D£¿vanu Lugati't-Turk were also found in the Kazak Turkish. Many of the verbs which seen from the Old Turkish also lives in the Kazakh Turkist with their variants in accordance with the phonetic structure of the Kazakh Turkish. The characteristic phonetic features of the Kazakh Turkish, s > £¿, l > d, £¿ > £¿ etc. sound events form the basic sound planes of the actions. However, some verbs in the Kazak Turkish maintain their archaic forms, regardless of standard changes. The most prominent feature of the archaic forms in fact is that they are more archaic than the phonetic structure of D£¿vanu Lugati't-Turk and therefore of the XI.th century Karakhanid Turkish. Some verbs in the Kazak Turkish preserve the in vocabulary and the end /b/ voice that we can only detect in Kokturkish from the historical dialects.
